With an Aim of Producing world class Technical Engineers, A KVG Polytechnic was established. Institution was started in the year 1984, By Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, A.O.L.E Founder President, The Institute is Managed By Academy Of Liberal Education®, Sullia and Approved by AICTE NewDelhi, and also Recognised by DTE, Govt of Karnataka.

At Present Six Branches are actively running with advanced Faculties, Good Infrastrctrual Facilities and Sophisticated Labouratories.

With great achievements and successful completion of 24 Years, the Institute has grown in all the dimensions, catering the needs of Students as well as Society.

The Institution has adequate number of Qualified Teaching and Non-Teaching staffs with considerable rich teaching and experience, who constantly inspire, motivate and co-operate with the students by building their Creativity both in Curricular and Extra-curricular activities.

Under the Financial assistance of AICTE, Computer Labs have been Upgraded and on continous positive approch of management, Rs.25 Lakh equpiments are added to advance Computer Labs and Auto CAD lab. In addition to this Rs.5 Lakh worth equpiments are added to E & C Labouratory , 20Lakh project is introduced for automobile Labouratory including service tation, Compurterised wheel alignment and balancing with K.V.G Driving School. Emission Testing Center was approved by Govt of Karnataka and RT Autority.

The various scholarship Facilities are provided for under economic Merit Students, SC/ST, Backward class post metrics, Minority, Defence, Beedi Workers welfare fund, Student Merit, Backward Tribes, Handicapped Fund etc..

There is a provision for stidents , who are from below poverty line has a rebate in their college fees. In the year 2008 among 104 candidates have been admitted to institution under this act.

Under the Guidance of Mr. Jayaprakash, Lecturer in Mechanical Dept and Mr. Sheenappa Gowda, the institution have regular campus connected programs.
A placement cell conducts work shops, Seminar and other guidance programs from Guest Lecturers and resource persons of various cader, developing soft skills step by step among students.

The institution organised development activities, under guidance of NITTR and ISTE NewDelhi for both Faculty as well as Students.
