Introduction:

The Department of Civil Engg was started in the year 1984, with an intake of 40 students.
Mr. Keshavamurthy .R is heading the Department with 6 Teaching and 5 Non teaching staffs. The Department having a team of well qualified eperience and wide industrial knowledge.

The Department has well equpied labouratories which are utilised for testing of materials and consultancy works. The Department aims at imparting knowledge of different aspects of construction, Surveying in Civil engineering aspects.

The Civil Department, Experienced faculty members guides the students to acieve sucess both in studies and company placements.

Department activities & Achievements:

1. Keshava murthy R,Devaraj M.K, Chikkaputte Gowda & Chenne Gowda. C attended the workshop on Education, Evaluation and measurement, ISAP Soft skills conducted by NITTTR, Bangalore, conducted at KVGP,Sullia.
2. Conducting regular seminars on behalf of Civil Students association.
3. Students career guidance programs, talks on soft skills & personality development by resource persons of different places
