The Department of Mechanical Engg has well equppied labs with latest Machines and tools.
Basic Workshop
Basic workshop lab consist of sophisticated Center lathe grinding machines , drilling machines etc. where the
students get the knowledge for preparing bolts , nuts & any turning works.Surface grinding which is used for Gear
cutting, shaping blocks & finishing works.
Machine Shop Machine shop is used for shaping over the prepared materials Welding lab which guide the students
to join different part of the machine & for sheet metal works also prepare
different shapes such as a tunnel cylinder, elbows & trays etc. The engine lab equipped with petrol
& diesel engines to calculate the performance of the same. Calorimeters are
used to get the calorific value of the given fuel.
Material Testing Lab
It consists of 20 tonne capacity of universal testing machine,Torsion testing machine, Impact strength testing machine, Viscocity testing machine by which the studnet can study the strength of different materials,
Property different lubricants and fuels.It is associated with heat engine lab. Well equpieed petrol and disel engines, Compressers and refrigerators which provide the student the study of and performance of petrol and disel engines in different road conditions. and student can also calculate calorific values of fuels.
Advanced CAD Lab
Advanced CAD lab consists of the latest softwares, required to upto date the students, computer numberical control lab with software provide the students to design the machines automated. Solid modelling use animated and interference checking and design of different parts of machines. Iron CAD, CATIA are the Latest softwares included. MECHATRONICS lab is used
to apply the electronic calculations and algorithms in mechanical industry, So as to drive machine and parts automatic.
